Prediction Update_1_2026/2027

I’ve managed to get super basic data into Power BI and a brave little dashboard on this website. It’s not appealing, to say the least, but it’s a good start for a new hobby I started this morning.

The EFL Championship is starting tomorrow, and my 14 August 2026 prediction is up. West Ham and their loyal manager, Nuno Espírito Santo, are already planning their reentry into the 2027/2028 Premier League season, and who can blame them?

Wolves have such a strong team, and Burnley might bounce back again. Southampton and Middlesbrough were so close and are still strong, despite the Saints starting with minus four points. Birmingham might finally live up to the hype and Norwich might be rewarded for their consistency.

The new playoff system will start a new fight for the “Top Eight” instead of the top six. Popular Wrexham just missed out on last year’s top six, and I can see them making it into the top eight this season. I can also see the other two big Welsh teams staying up.

Will Wilder be fired and hired again? Only time will tell. In the meantime, feel free to click around my slightly clunky, brand-new dashboard. Here’s to a massive season ahead!
